Sweet Silver Lining

This has been the only song running through my head for the past few days. I especially liked the chorus.

Well, everyone hopes to live a peaceful mundane life. Fact is, there is no such life. Sometimes, you simply don't know when a person is at his/her limit. When all you can do is expect something from them, you're stifling them. You're not the only one with problems. Others have them too. Be considerate and give them a breather. Respect is earned not demanded for and given. Why do you only listen to the many voices around you but never listen to the little whisper inside you? Whose side are you on? If you keep on going down that route that you've currently chosen for yourself, you might just lose you raison d'être. Well, don't drag us down with you.

Not everything you want is what you get.

I hate to say this but people can be so ugly. At least don't show me that ugliness if you want to be ugly. I'd rather not see it.

Word of advise: If you keep stifling a dove in your palm and you might just find that it is gone.
