Tuesday, June 5, 2007 The Amazing Race Yesterday, the stake organized a pre YC activity.......... THE AMAZING RACE That was super tiring........... We had lunch at 10:45am........... We were the 5th team to leave......(we left at 11:20am, the first team left at 11am)..... Our first stop was the Singapore Botanical Gardens................. We had to look for Sundial Garden inside the Botanic Gardens................ After searching for 1/2 hr............ we found the place and was 7th to arrive.......... Next Stop: Bishan Park The Task: Members of each group were to chew lime and mix it with sugar in their mouth. They were to spit it out into a large 100+ bottle. Later, they were to transfer water from our normal water bottles to the large bottle also using their mouth. 2 guys did it on behalf of the group............... After that, we had to go to the esplanade.......... We saw a gap in between the road fence (so we crossed there, Duh)............ the bus came and we saw anothe group coming........ they were frantically trying to climb over the fence........... They didn't see the gap.........(LOL)........... We told the bus driver to quickly close the door......... Next Stop: Esplanade Completed the task and gave other group wrong infomation by yelling "Jurong west".......... Next Stop: Vivo City Had to do survey and got kicked out of Vivo.............(Oh Well........)............ Last Stop: Sentosa Happy to be the second....... we ran to the beach only to be told that we were last cos all other tams gave up............ Went back to church and got 3rd place overall............. Not too bad actually......... Form 7th to 3rd...... Recaps: Nothing to say.......
