The scene outside; the windows you see cry Nobody. What happened? All 'but's and 'if's. I especially liked the chorus.Well, everyone hopes to live a peaceful mundane life. Fact is, there is no such life. Sometimes, you simply don't know when a person is at his/her limit. When all you can do is expect something from them, you're stifling them. You're not the only one with problems. Others have them too. Be considerate and give them a breather. Respect is earned not demanded for and given. Why do you only listen to the many voices around you but never listen to the little whisper inside you? Whose side are you on? If you keep on going down that route that you've currently chosen for yourself, you might just lose you raison d'être. Well, don't drag us down with you. Not everything you want is what you get.I hate to say this but people can be so ugly. At least don't show me that ugliness if you want to be ugly. I'd rather not see it.Word of advise: If you keep stifling a dove in your palm and you might just find that it is gone.Sweet Silver Liningby Kate Voegele[Verse 1]Well I'm going homeDownhearted and hopingI'm close to some new beginningI know there's a reason for everythingThat comes and goes[Chorus]But so many people are looking to meTo be strong and to fightBut I'm just survivingAnd I may be weak but I'm not defeatedAnd I'll keep believingIn clouds with that sweet silver lining[Verse 2]Most days I tryMy best to put on a brave faceBut insideMy bones are cold and my heart breaksBut all the whileSomething's keeping me safe and alive[Chorus]But so many people are looking to meTo be strong and to fightBut I'm just survivingAnd I may be weak but I'm never defeatedAnd I'll keep believingIn clouds with that sweet silver lining[Bridge]And I won't give up like thisI will be given strengthNow that I've found itNothing can take that away[Chorus x2]That's all for today. Well, if you're one of my awesome friends, don't worry about this. This is nothing about you. I love y'all lots. Just don't worry too much when you read this. xx Lost in the music at 6:02 PM Friday, January 22, 2010 Legion "The last time God lost faith in his children, he sent a flood. This time, he sent Angels."~Michael, Legion "Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord." ~Psalms 34:11 "Bob Hanson: I don't believe in God.Michael: Well, God doesn't believe in you either."~Legion These are some of the quotes I found most memorable in the entire movie. Most people would rate this movie 1 or 2. I'm guessing that's because they don't quite understand the religious references used in the movie. Personally, I found it not too bad. I enjoyed the way it used 'reversed psychology' to let believers of God question themselves on the issues presented in the movie. To a certain extent, with careful consideration, this movie actually make sense. Well, I don't really know how to explain it to those who don't have a foundation understanding of religious doctrine. The simplest I can put it is: To everything that occurs in this world, there must be some point or another when you acknowledged a superior being controlling and overseeing the elements of this Earth. What if that superior being decided he was displeased with the way we led our lives and decided that he wasn't going to let it carrying on. Just like in the time of Moses, tests were sent. Furthermore, through Michael, Legion emphasizes on the importance of faith. During the entire course of the movie, audience should learn that faith is not having a perfect knowledge of things but rather having hope in things which are not seen, which are true. Legion is a little deep when you carry out an analysis on it and compare it to religious doctrines. Different doctrines may bring out different aspects in the movie. It's not all about gun and shooting. Listen to the choice of words during the movie. They are sharp and concise. "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord." Malachi 4:5They did say that it would be a "great and dreadful day". This is as much as I get from the movie (Legion) as for now. Thought of the day: Pride is a mask, confidence is a trait. Hurl stones at someone with pride, it shatters their mask. The person crumbles and began blaming the world. Do the same with someone with confidence, the person would fall, then pick himself/herself up, question "Where did I go wrong?" and move on.Song of the day: Who I Am Hates Who I've Been by Relient K xx Lost in the music at 8:17 PM Monday, July 27, 2009 27th July 2009 ~The witch doesn't use her magic on herself because she knows the emptiness that follows when the spell breaks~ xx Lost in the music at 10:59 PM Thursday, February 26, 2009 Just keep thinking xx Lost in the music at 5:46 PM Do you think I like this life? xx Lost in the music at 5:45 PM It's easy to accusewhenyou haven'tclimb into a person's skin and walk around in it. xx Lost in the music at 5:43 PM
‘Goodbye’
I once was told
By a parting friend
Don’t say ‘goodbye’
It’s not the end
Little did I know
When we went our way
We parted with our hearts
And went astray
Together by twilight
Once we sat
But now only
As enemies met
The ‘goodbye’ that
Was never said
Left no closure
To the restless dead
Now again
We sit together
Uncertain of where
We stand
As friends
Or lovers
Or maybe
Strangers
Unknown to this very
End

A Sonnet Akin To Stunning Eyes Blind
Within the columns of the grey-scaled walls
What fortunes you have but have not passion
Trapped in the sorrow that a heart recalls
In the darkness that light does not mention
Curtains are drawn and hearts opened are blind
You sought much enlightenment; eyes wide shut
Their voices threaten and silence kind
You seek the truth – with your soul you have part
Glorious voices do chime through bright Christmas sky
The snowflakes, the snow falls, where are your gifts?
The scene outside; the windows you see cry
Nobody. What happened? All 'but's and 'if's.
With your pride they are foolish and you are smug
Dull senses you feel and candles burn dark.
